AC Land Rover Specialist is an established independent Land Rover, Range Rover and Jaguar specialist with a reputation for quality workmanship, technical expertise and exceptional customer service.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced General Mechanic to join our team.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for a mechanic who enjoys both routine maintenance work and more involved restoration projects.

You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
• Completing MOT preparation and repair work.
• Rebuilding and restoring Land Rover Defenders.
• Replacing and repairing engines, transmissions, suspension and braking systems.
• Working to a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical workshop skills.
• Experience working on Land Rover vehicles is desirable but not essential.
• Experience rebuilding or restoring vehicles would be a distinct advantage.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence.
